Our Canadian Trilingual Identity is the identity of all immigrant communities or families that understand the benefits of Official Bilingualism and at the same time understand the importance of preserving their Heritage Language. Our Canadian Trilingual Identity, as well, contributes to the interaction of the different ethnicities in the immigrant population of Canada and harmonizes our traditional cultural background with our new social identity as new Canadians. Simply put, it represents a new sense of belonging.
